Overlooking middle level managers will be a costly mistake

The proverbial "catch of the day” for the Career Access clients now is the middle level leader - an experienced middle level manager who is ready to move up the corporate ladder. The demand for employees skilled enough to oversee and manage workers has reached a very high level and the recruiters are constantly & aggressively looking for experienced talent. Thanks to a booming economy in India the trend will only get stronger in the coming months.

Rising attrition levels at middle levels have alarmed the recruiters and they are finally looking at the compensation levels and the high stress levels at the middle levels. There is a growing realization that without a strong second line of leaders, no organization can grow fast enough and take advantage of the current boom. In fact missing the high growth curve at this point of time can prove very costly and can significantly erode bottom lines. Imagine an Organization losing its regional sales managers or the competitors hiring better managers. Even a 10% shift in market shares in such a situation can create chaos. Loss of a key middle level manager can result in a lot of demoralization down to the front line levels as it is primarily the middle level managers who are in direct touch with the front line executives and the retailers.

The main reason for mid level managers to leave jobs is a non supportive work culture in terms of empowerment and growth opportunities. Security and money are no longer the main issues. Career Access appreciates this significant trend and focuses on finding leaders at middle levels who would not only prove to be empowering bosses at middle levels but can inspire teams and also act as a filter to a kiss up and kick down approach. Each candidate is screened through an internationally tried and tested process which includes a detailed referral check to ensure compatibility of the Candidate with the client organization to significantly reduce the chances of mishire.
