Career Access has evolved a proprietary methodology keeping the fundamentals of search intact and customizing the elaborate search process to suit the more immediate needs of middle level of management.

How is Career Access’s search methodology different from those employed by placement agencies (“Selection”)?

There are some very fundamental differentiations between the two:
Career Access’s search methodology is based on a customized search strategy for each assignment with greater emphasis on research rather than database. Selection is database driven.
Career Access search methodology involves meeting the candidate and assessing his/her relevance for the job. On the other hand, selection is a fast paced resume blasting exercise without assessing a candidate’s competencies and matching them with those required for the role.
Career Access’s search methodology involves corroborating research and assessment about a candidate through thorough reference checks. Selection usually involvers either no or very surface level reference checks.

We feel that it is in the interest of the client to engage a single recruitment firm for a particular position to ensure that there is a single uniform message going out to the candidates and the external environment, thereby ensuring greater alignment with the objective of the hire.
Exclusivity also eliminates the remote possibility of the same candidate being approached by multiple recruitment firms leading to a high headed opinion being formed by such candidate.
Search requires designing customized search strategy for every single position. Multiple search strategies would lead to wrong candidates being presented, leading to confusion and increased chances of mishire.
